Winsor & Newton Artists Watercolour

Since the 1830's, when the original founders of the company introduced the first moist watercolours, much of Winsor & Newton's reputation for supreme quality has been based on the Artists' Water Colour range. Tubes are primarily selected by artists using large volumes of colour whilst pans are preferred by artists. Artists' Water Coloursare made form the finest pigments available in the highest possible concentrations consistent with good handling properties. Each colour is still manufactured to a unique formulation designed to enhance its particular characteristic. In fact, some delicate pigments are still dispersed by hand to avoid harming their natural brilliance.
