Vinyl Lettering

1 . Gently peel back the background material from one corner of the sheet. Continue All the way across the sheet to remove the background without removing any of the lettering. Particular care must be exercised when working with small characters.

2 . If desired, lightly pencil in guideline with a ruler or straight edge.

3 . Lift the lettering off the backing sheet and carefullly place into position. The use of a thin flat bladed tool such as an artist knife can be of great help. Gently erase any pencil guideline.

Important:
We strongly recommend that the surfaces to which these letters are to be applied to are thoroughly cleaned prior to the application of any lettering. Extra care should be taken to remove any oil, dust or dirty film.

Application Tip:
. A helpful method to apply large characters: individually place a character into bucket of water into which a couple of capfuls of dishwashing detergent have been added.
. Position letter where desired. Letter will temporarily be repositionable. Squeegee out excess water. Adhesive will set to permanent tack in 24 hours. Note: This method is for smooth, hardsurfaces - i.e. metal, glass, plastic.
. Some experimentation may be required to abtain bes results.
