Among the most memorable displays of poster art in recent American history are the dynamic posters created during World Wars I and 11. Four of these famous placards have been reproduced in miniature as tattoo art, among them James Montgomery Flagg's unforgettable portrait of Uncle Sam with the caption "I Want YOU for U.S. Army," and Howard Chandler Christy's winsome lass in a sailor suit proclaiming "Gee!! I wish I were a man. I'd join the NAVY." Each tattoo design can be safely applied to and easily removed from arms, legs, and other body parts.
Dover Original. 4 full-color tattoos on 2 plates. Instructions. 4 3/16" x 5 3/4". Saddlewired, November 2000, Paperbd.
